Course description

We are going to take last months sloper and put her to work! This month we are going to create two stylish skirts you can make from that one sloper. I want to get you excited about the possibilities of having a sloper and how to use it to the max.

COURSE OUTLINE

INTRO: Discussing what skirts we will be making and getting ready
DRAFTING SKIRT #1: Using your basic sloper to draft your a-line skirt
The a-line skirt has side seam pockets, invisible zipper installation, waistband w/ extended zipper, double rolled hem.
DRAFTING SKIRT #2: Using your basic sloper to draft your high waits pencil skirt
The high waist pencil skirt has no waistband but instead we create facings, invisible zipper installation, a pegged hem and back vent.
CUT AND SEW: Both skirts are sewn and finished.
